Hey, Dallas neighbors! As we gear up for a heartwarming Thanksgiving, let’s spread some extra love to those who could use a helping hand. CitySquare is doing incredible work in tackling homelessness, and we invite you to be a part of their mission. This Thanksgiving, they urgently need our support through donations of blankets, coats, cleaning supplies, and toiletry items for individuals in their programs.

Dallas, faces its share of challenges, and CitySquare is at the forefront, offering solutions for housing, food, and health services. It’s eye-opening to know that 60 percent of all Americans are just one paycheck away from poverty. Rather than blaming poor life choices, CitySquare emphasizes the domino effect of crises like job loss, trauma, or health issues.

They believe in the “housing first” model, recognizing that stable housing is a fundamental right, and without addressing housing, tackling secondary issues like employment are much less likely to be successful. Their grant-funded programs are in need of community support for items not in the grant budgets. We’re asking for your support of these items that directly benefit the individuals in their programs.
